How Nest Buddies uses Google sign-in and connected game saves.

What Google shares

When you choose Google sign-in, Nest Buddies verifies your Google account identifier, verified email address and display name. We do not receive your Google password, and this sign-in does not request Gmail, Drive, contacts or other Google account contents.

What Nest Buddies stores

We store the Google account identifier linked to your Nest Buddies account, email, display name, game saves, linked-device authorizations and browser sign-in sessions. Google account identifiers connect your progress across devices. Email addresses alone are not used to merge existing journeys.

The browser uses a secure sign-in cookie lasting up to 30 days. A temporary sign-in request expires after five minutes; a browser Google challenge expires after ten minutes. Expired requests and sessions are removed during subsequent sign-in operations. Short-lived abuse-prevention counters use a hashed network identifier.

Your choices

Sign out on the Account page to end the current browser session. In Devices, unlink an app to revoke its device access. Unlinking an app restores its separate private backup and keeps the shared account journey. Existing accounts recognized in this browser can connect Google to their previous journey from the Account page.

For account access or data requests, use the developer support email shown in the Nest Buddies Google sign-in consent details. Public creator profiles and uploaded creations are separate from your private game save and become public when you choose to publish them.

Services involved

Google provides identity verification. Nest Buddies stores account and game data on its hosted service. The website also uses its existing visit analytics. Google credentials are exchanged over HTTPS; Google sign-in on Android and Windows opens your browser.
